Homework Assignments
Homework is given on a daily basis. It is the students' responsibility to turn work in on time. If students are having difficulty, there is tutoring during Enrichment and tutoring can be arranged for before school or after school.
Students have one week from the day they are absent to turn in assignments. It's up to the student to get assignments that are missed during any class, whether it be sickness, field trips, sporting events, etc. If students haven't turned in the work in one week the grade will result in a zero.
In my classes, the students receive 3-4 days to turn in assignments. If any assignments are from Monday thru Thursday, it is due on that Friday. This gives students extra time to turn in assignments and if they did not understand something, they can come and ask for extra help. I’m here of the morning, enrichment and after school when needed.
